One of the most important tools in audio recording is called compression.
This is not a walk in the park for most of us. In fact, even with a full understanding of every parameter, one would still get around just at 80%. But understanding its fundamentals allows you to explore so much more.
Here are a few of my articles on compression – Improve Or Ruin Your Audio With an Effect Called Compression and Vocal Compression Using Reaper’s ReaComp Effect Plugin.
Below is a link to a tutorial from Tuts+ where you can learn the most common mistakes people make when it comes to compression, and you night even be doing some of them of them.
Here is one example: Watch your meter! If you are currently not watching your meter then you are completely missing the point of compression, this should be automatic.

Weird Yet Wonderful: 10 Audio Apps For IOS
Weird does not always come in negative some time it just takes a little exploration. Here is a brief list of iOS audio apps for music production for those seeking to be adventurous out there. (This list comes in no particular order)
Audio Stretch – “Performance unintended” Commonly known as a transcription tool, Audio Stretch can do far more than what it was intended to do for those willing to test its potential. It is a great tool for manipulating single audio files in terms of pitch and speed.
Bloom – “Limited but infectious” Appears to be very ordinary but appealing to the ears.

Deleight By Audiority
Inspired by the Korg DL8000r released in 1997, Italian developer Audiority has released Deleight, a much simpler version of the previously discontinued rackmount module.
Yes, it’s simpler but in a much better way, unlike the DL8000r, Deleight does not have as many modulation options and features. It’s only low/hi damp filter (for each channel) as opposed to a 3-band EQ.
Simplicity is Audiority’s key for making Deleight, allowing you to focus, rather than worry. with its intuitive controls and fully resizable UI. It has only 4 columns with controls for left and right taps, feedback taps, and LFO modulation with identical left and right controls.

Forgetting something will and can happen to anybody that is why Bobby came up with this list to save you from the “Oops” in the end.
Security, remember that you are investing in gear and instruments that are probably worth your life’s work and for sure you would not want to damage or worst lose any of it.

Ample Sound's Ethno Ukulele
Known for several guitar plugins, Ample Sound has yet to stop in pursuing other string instruments recently coming up with an upright bass and now a ukelele. Ample’s Ethno Ukelele available in 32-bit and 64-bit plugins is a detailed virtual ukulele for both iOS and Windows and even offers a stand alone version.
Using a high-end hand-made koa wood ukulele from Hawaii to keep up with its high standards for instruments. The Kamaka HF-3 is the exact model used for Ethno sounds very different from inexpensive ukulele competitors. Warm and less brittle with the luxury of an automatic double tracking option.
