Reverb has published a list of its top ten music production equipment components for 2019. In this category are synthesizers and drum machines of different brands. While the results include state-of-the-art industry machines, other less prominent components also placed indicating the diversity of production methods in the industry. A older mainstay Teenage Engineering had two machines, the OP-1 and OP-Z place in the top ten. The best-selling new synthesizer was the Korg Minilogue XD. The top selling brands overall were Roland, Korg, Moog, and Yamaha.
