One of the daunting tasks during the editing process is compiling vocals. It’s tedious and boring when you have to listen to the same line of the song on a loop while going through each take to choose the best part. It is indeed difficult to dissect the vocals in minute details.
Pro Tools has a built-in mechanism called Playlists, which places each new take onto the same channel, which can be shown or hidden at any time. Thus, you can view the recordings at the same time as well as edit each one separately.
