RØDE TF-5 is a pair of pencil condenser microphones geared towards high-end recording which possesses premium features. It was made in collaboration with Grammy Award-winning classical music recording engineer Tony Faulkner.
It may be utilized as the main stereo pair or as individual spot mics during a solo performance. According to RØDE, the new capsule has been engineered to sub-micron tolerances, serving up “breathtaking sonic transparency”. Their low noise floor of only 14dbA should make them suitable for ambient mic techniques. When used as a matched stereo set, the precision sonic pairing is perfect for a stable stereo sound stage.

These mics look interesting. Would love to see a comparison between something like a Schoeps or Nueman.
