Sennheiser recently announced that the new Ambeo Smart Headset is now available for shipping in the US and Canada. First showcased earlier this year at CES 2017, the AMBEO SMART HEADSET makes 3D audio a reality on a mobile device by capturing incredibly detailed and realistic immersive 3D recordings.
The AMBEO SMART HEADSET is now available for Apple iOS devices featuring a Lightning connector. A version for Android devices is planned for release at a later date. The headset is priced at $299.95 (U.S.) and $399.95 (CAN).

Held at the AES Convention in New York, Earthworks launched its new flagship microphone, the SV3 3. The new high-resolution studio mic SV3 3 claims to deliver a near-perfect cardioid polar pattern that is consistent up to 80 degrees off-axis, claim its makers.
This will be available in December 2017 with a U.S. street price of $2,399.00.
