IK Multimedia recently released the iKlip MINI, which is cool little device that allows you to clip your iPhone or iPod touch to a microphone stand (or anything like it with a thin enough pipe or tube). This device is the little sibling to the iKlip, which is designed to allow you to clip an iPad onto a stand.
The first benefit I experienced after clipping this baby onto a mic stand right by my desk was how convenient it was to have my iPhone hands-free, which is useful for any number of things, such as the ability to read a narration script during voice over recording, lyrics while singing, guitar chords while playing, etc, etc, etc. Of course one of the main uses of the iKlip MINI is to allow you to use it in conjunction with the iRig, which allows you to plug your guitar into it, load up IK Multimedia’s Amplitube app for iOS, and shred (or gently strum:)) to your heart’s content. I’ll do a separate review of the iRig/Amplitube App setup in another post.
I love the iKlip MINI and will probably end up using it for more than just the things I listed above. To learn more and/or get one of your very own, CLICK HERE.
